Namib Desert meets the Benguela Current of the Atlantic Ocean. The small hummocks dotting the sand are Salsola etoshensis shrubs, which are able to survive with virtually no precipitation. Photo is taken from a small plane at altitude approximately 60 metres. Location is in central Namibia somewhat south of Sandwich Bay.
