Description
Shows the entrance. The pollinators are supposed to be flies, and the flowers are supposed to "imitate" carrion, and give no reward to the pollinators. Note added 24 June 2010: This photo was used in National Wildlife Federation Field Guide to Wildflowers of North America. I just saw it at a bookstore--I opted not to get a copy, instead receiving a (small) license fee. It looks like a great book, but I have a whole shelf-full of wildflower guides already!
