Description
Calabash (or Gourd) tree - Crescentia cujete, Family: BIGNONIACEAE. The sprawling tree bears large green fruits, gourds (up to 25 cm in diameter) - the woody outer shells were traditionally used to make water containers, soup bowls, plates and for bailing boats.
