EOL Text
Shrub or small tree, 1.5-4 m tall. Stipules linear, falcate, 8-9 mm long, caducous, petiole 1.5-5 cm long, rachis 6-12 cm long, clavate or conical gland between all or all except the upper pair of petiolules. Leaflets 3-5 pairs, ovate to ovate elliptic, 4-11 cm long, 2-3.5 cm wide. Raceme axillary or terminal, 5-10 cm long. Sepals 6-10 nun long. Petals 1-2 cm long, subsessile, broadly ovate, orbicular to broader than long; stamens 10, 3 staminodes. Fruit 6-10 cm long, 12-15 mm broad, c. 50 seeded, glabrous.

Senna macranthera is a tree in the family of Fabaceae.
With a height of 6 to 9 m, it has an abundance of yellow flowers from December to April in its homelands.
Origin
It originates in the north of South America.
