Árbol o arbusto.
Árbol o arbusto de 2 a 10 m de altura, ramitas glabras surcadas. Hojas simples, opuestas, de elíptico-oblongas a oblongo-lanceoladas, de 9-20 por 3,5-6,2 cm, ápice largo-acuminado, borde aserrado, membranáceas.
Inflorescencia en paniculada terminal en las ramitas, hasta 22 cm de largo. Flores de blancas a blanco amarillento. Frutos tipo aquenios hispídulos.
DIAGNÁSTICO: Las hojas poseen puntos translúcidos, además tienden a ser amarillentas cuando viejas, con el pecíolo levemente morado e inflorescencias largas y delgadas.
