Rhizome long, creeping, laterally branched with brown, alternate, peltate rhizome-scales. Stipe articulated onto phyllopods (a short scaly base). Fronds simple, entire, uniform, widely spaced; veins free, parallel. Sori superficial on the veins, in a row on each side of the midrib near the costae; indusium kidney-shaped, opening outwards, homosporous.

Oleandra
Helechos epífitos o terrestres con rizomas muy alargados, erectos, rastreros o trepadores, a veces ramificados, densamente cubiertos por escamas peltadas. Frondas estériles o fértiles, monomorfas; láminas simples, enteras; nervios libres y paralelos; estípite articulado. Soros circulares, usualmente adyacentes al nervio central; indusios circulares o reniformes, peltados. Género tropical con alrededor de 40 especies.

Fronds sterile or fertile, monomorphic; blades simple, entire; veins free and parallel; stipe articulate. Sori circular, usually adjacent to the midvein; indusia circular or reniform, peltate. A tropical genus of about 40 species.
